Criminal damage Horncastle

Alert message sent 13/01/2020 05:33:00

Information sent on behalf of Lincolnshire Police

Good morning

Officers conducting patrols in Horncastle discovered a series of criminal damage offences and other anti-social behaviour (ASB) related incidents during the evening of Sunday 12th January. This included tyres being punctured to two vehicles, flowerpots being damaged and bins knocked over. There may have been more offences committed - if you have been the victim of damage or ASB overnight, please get in touch to make us aware.

One person was located and has been arrested.

We are keen to speak with any witnesses or those with CCTV cameras who may have captured footage of the offenders, between approximately 2200hrs and midnight.
The areas involved appear to be North Street, East Street, Queen Street, Foundry Street, Banks Street and Tennyson Gardens.

I hope the arrest will bring this recent spate of offences to an end however, I would like to ask that if issues continue, we are keen to be informed of incidents as soon as possible - please contact 101, or 999 if a crime is in progress, and obtain as much information about the person and their direction of travel.

Thank you.
