Virgin Media Fraud

Message from Lincolnshire Police Headquarters, Engagement Team, Thursday 17 May 2018. 

A Lincs Alert co-ordinator has recently received an email containing fraudulent Virgin Media text, informing 'the payment for your latest VirginMedia bill failed'.  Recommending the customer 'click here to update your billing details'.  (Please find a copy of the message attached.)

The fraud has been reported to Virgin and Lincolnshire Trading Standards.  Please remain vigilant against suspicious email messages, requesting to provide bank account details online.  

If you receive a similar email, please report to Lincolnshire Trading Standards Tel  03454 04 05 06 or contact Lincolnshire Police 101 (non emergency).
