Information sent on behalf of Lincolnshire Police

In the last few days at a local shop in LINCOLNSHIRE an unknown male around 16 to 20 years tried to spend, what is believed was a fake £50 note, CLYDESDALE BANK.

The male also asked for cigarettes but was refused because he looked about 16 and his ID was a picture of a driving licence on his phone.

The unknown male had an IRISH accent.

An unknown male matching  a similar description was caught on CCTV in YORK spending fake £50 IRISH notes in February. 

Incident no. NORTH YORKSHIRE POLICE 12180025678 refers.

Please be vigilant at all times and report any suspicious behaviour or activity to LINCOLNSHIRE POLICE on 101 immediately with if possible descriptions of vehicles Number plates’ direction of travel and descriptions of persons.
